After releases on record labels suchs as Mannequin, PRR! PRR! and Unknown Precept, Brussels resident Maoupa Mazzocchetti joins Editions Gravats for his new album. His music constant references to experimental music artists with a pop sensibility, from Devo to The Residents, are now unescapable. They are also evident in the visual arts and graphics he creates to showcase his unique satire of mainstream culture. This all-round approach has been unified around a self-fictional character named "Snippet Boy". Maoupa hides under Snippet Boy on stage since 2017. With the help of visual artist Matteo Ingrao, he has shaped his figure for the cover of his record, thus sealing the pact of creating his first fictional pop record.
