Freshman Maoupa Mazzocchetti joins Unknown Precept with assuredly what will remain a tough player for the years to come and a promising start for the Belgian producer. Questioning the primary inconstancy of music thanks to some of the best proto-electro experiments we’ve heard as of late, the newcomer’s boiling mental activity keeps resounding in a very bizarre way throughout his first solo release. Live recorded in Brussels, A-Tranquility ranges from pile-driving kicks to rumbling bass and makes-up for the most innovative contemporary body music currently on the market. As guided by a robotic arm on an industrial assembly line, randomly cutting shapes in sheets of metal, Mazzocchetti browses random directions. Now and again exploring muscular and deconstructed grooves, tagging along with daring metallic synth lines and filtered vocals; in throbbing bursts of energy giving way to the accident as a creative medium.
